2016
Five years after moving to Berlin in 2011, Dennis met Merle while working at a real estate company. They quickly bonded over their shared passion for electronic music and the Berlin nightlife.
2019
At the end of 2019, Dennis and Merle had the idea to create a platform to share their love for electronic music. Wanting to keep it simple and clear they decided to call themselves WoMMan, representing the combination of a woman and a man. Once they created the logo, they both fell in love with its simplicity.
2020
In March 2020, the pandemic started and the club scene came to a halt. As a result, their inspiration and motivation dwindled and it was unsure what the future held.
2022
In 2022, Dennis was still unfulfilled working in commercial real estate and could not shake the idea of doing something else with WoMMan, constantly thinking of how to turn it into a business for his personal future. Finally, he quit his job and went all in to create WoMMan – The Fashion Brand.
Background
Growing up within the textile industry, with his parents running a fashion agency for over 40 years and a multi-brand store for over 10 years, he was well acquainted with the industry. Within the last 12 years, he visited various fashion trade shows as well as fabric fairs and got inspired by many brands. Ironically, his first job 17 years ago was at a fashion store selling clothes during school holidays.
Art & Fashion
Captivated by the art scene, appreciating the beauty and creativity it encompassed, it wasn’t until 2022 that Dennis picked up a paintbrush himself. Surprised by his talent and feedback, Dennis produced a series of remarkable pieces. Inspired and motivated he conceived the idea of fusing his newfound passion with his upcoming brand, thus giving birth to the innovative concept of the Art Line.

The Art line showcases the brand’s commitment to creativity and innovation. This line features limited edition pieces painted and digitally printed on specific garments. These pieces are unique, bold, and vibrant, showcasing WoMMan’s ability to push boundaries and create something truly special.
Finally, the Luxury line is the epitome of sophistication and elegance. This line features exquisite fabrics, intricate detailing, and impeccable craftsmanship.
Throughout all three lines, the brand is dedicated to sustainability. This includes using environmentally friendly materials, minimizing waste, and supporting ethical production practices. The brand also prioritizes transparency and educates its customers on its sustainability efforts.
